We’re thrilled to announce that Hope for a Thorn will be premiering at the LA Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles!
The LA Femme Fest, celebrating its 5th year, is devoted to boosting the profile and careers of women filmmakers, producers, writers, and on-screen talent.
The film is screening in competition on October 18 at 2:00 at the Renberg Theatre 1125 N McCadden Pl, Los Angeles 90038
The festival runs from Oct 15 – 18.
We’re very proud to be premiering here and can’t wait to share our film with an audience. We’re planning on attending the festival, where hopefully we’ll make some great contacts. About the LA Femme Film Festival
Female players in the indie film scene gather at LAFemme to explore professional options, share ideas, and make connections that last a lifetime. Alumni have gone on to secure national, international and cable distribution for their films, while screenplay winners have garnered development deals, writing assignments, and representation, and winning shorts directors have received studio development deals.
LA Femme showcases projects made by women, for everyone. This year’s festival honorees include Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody, 227′s Marla Gibbs, and Roseanne’s Sara Gilbert.
